Al Sawadi Beach Resort is the closest starting point to the Daymaniyat Islands, the jewels in the crown of diving in Oman. These tiny islands lie about 15 km off the Batinah Coast and are Oman's only Marine National Nature Reserve. Diving here is spectacular. There are more rare fish who tend to be larger and more numerous than along mainland shores of the Gulf of Oman and coral reef development is more substantial.
