Opened in 1985, the Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat hotel has built a reputation as the best hotel in the Middle East and one of the finest hotels in the world. Room Facilities:

Accommodation includes both Guest Rooms and Suites. Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat hotel has 250 luxurious rooms and suites, each with its own private balcony and most with spectacular views over the Gulf of Oman.

Standard facilities include individually controlled air conditioning, bath and shower, personal bar, satellite TV, DVD players, telephone with voicemail and high speed Internet.

Hotel Facilities:

The Gymnasium provides a variety of cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, bikes, elliptical and multi purpose multi gym and free weights (temporarily located on the 5th floor, adjacent to lifts 3 and 4 ).

Swimming Pool:

For relaxation, unwind in the pool which is temperature controlled at 29°C (84°F). For sun worshippers, a large carpeted pool deck surrounds the beautiful pool and children's shaded splash pool. Swimming lessons for both children and adults can be arranged.

Tennis Village:

There are four floodlit courts and a full-time tennis instructor. Mini-golf, boules / petanque, putting green and chip and putt facilities are also available. The hotel holds regular tournaments and other events, so check with the Tennis Village for the current program.

Water Sports:

Choose from sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, boat trips, snorkelling and diving (fully certified PADI course).

Children's Facilities:

These include a covered children's pool, playground and hotel-organised activities; high chairs, baby cots and babysitting services are available upon request. The children's' playground is located next to the beach where there are swings, a slide and rocking horses.
