Muscat - Nizwa - Bahla - Jabrin - Dhow Cruise

Suggested Itinerary:

The tour starts with a visit to the Fish and vegetable markets in Muttrah. Visit to the Grand Mosque Visit to the Muttrah Souq where you will find a mix of old and new and sights, sounds and fragrances in abundance. Drive past corniche and to the capital area before we stop in front of the Sultan's Palace flanked by the Portuguese forts, Jalali and Mirani. Lunch at a local restaurant or Picnic lunch. Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum for a fine display of Omani culture and history. Proceed to Qantab beach. Stop at Bandar Al Jissah where we will visit the seacoast village of Qantab and hometown of Oman dive centre.

A journey to the past through the Sumail Gap that divides the Western and Eastern Hajars and onto the Old Capital of Oman, Nizwa, famous for its silver Souq and big round fort. After visiting the Souq and fort, we take our lunch from a local restaurant. After lunch move to Bahla, renowned for it huge loam fort which is under renovation at present. Bahla is also known as the pottery capital of Oman. Bahla has been placed in the UNESCO's heritage list because of its cultural value. Next visit is Jabrin fort, where you will find one of the most magnificent forts of Oman with its painted ceilings, dungeons, and hidden passages. Return to Muscat in the evening.

Muscat to Quriyat and over the plateau down the narrow coastal track to wadi Shaab. Take a hike up one of Oman's most scenic wadis. Picnic lunch End of the hike, there is a swim through the famous keyhole into the secluded world of thrilling fantasy. Stop at Fins beach. Relax a while. Return to Muscat.

Pick up from your hotel at 7am. Make a dream come true; step aboard to explore the hidden treasures of Oman's magic coastline. 2 hours cruise will give you a fascinating experience and it is rare to miss the chance of observing the dolphins swimming along with the boat. Look for the dolphins leaping out of the water, a truly thrilling sight Soft drinks and light breakfast on board.

We will take you to Marina Bandhar Rawdha from your hotel. Board a traditional Omani Dhow for a 2 hour cruise. Pass the Yacht club of Muscat and fishing village of Sidab. The historic harbour of Muscat, Jalali & Mirani forts and sail past Al Bustan Palace Hotel, Oman's premium hotel. Back to Muscat. Kahwa and dates on board.
